Notifying the Public of Rights Under Title VI
The Montachusett Regional Transit Authority (MART) fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes and regulations in all services, programs, and activities. MART operates without regard to race, color, national origin.
Any person who believes they have been subjected to discrimination prohibited by Title VI may file a written or verbal complaint with MART, either personally or through a representative. Complaints must be filed no later than 180 days from the date of the alleged discrimination.
Complaint forms are available at the ticket agency window of our Intermodal Facility at 100 Main Street in Fitchburg, the facility at 555 Main Street in Gardner, or at MART’s main office at 1427R Water Street in Fitchburg. These forms must be completed, signed, and submitted to our main office.
Complaints may also be filed by calling 978-345-7711. In such cases, an official complaint form will be completed by MART staff and mailed to the complainant for signature and verification. A full description of the complaint procedure is available upon request. Obligations and complaint procedures are also available in Spanish.
