RFR-Snow Plowing & Removal

The Montachusett Regional Transit Authority MART is requesting proposals for its snow plowing / removal contract. This will be a 5 year contract (2018 – 2023), renewable annually, based on each previous year’s performance. Proponents must possess the equipment suitable to handle the clearing and removal of snow in a timely manner. Due to the nature of MART’s business, all lots must be cleared and passable to foot traffic no later than 4:30AM, unless otherwise noted. The contracts will be awarded by individual sites and in accordance with the site specifications listed below. Proponents are not required to bid on all locations available, but may opt to do so as a package price. MART has five primary locations that require snow plowing and removal. Attached is a list of the locations and the specific details for each location, including areas of responsibility. It is highly recommended that proponents conduct a site visit prior to bidding.

Proposals are due no later than 4PM on November 1st and are to be forwarded by email, facsimile or mailed to the attention of Procurement at the address and contact information below.

Please forward any questions regarding this request to the attention of Robert Benoit at procurement@mart.com no later than 12PM on Monday – October 29th. Any requests for information or clarification submitted by any bidder will be forwarded to all vendors in receipt of this RFR. Requests for information/clarification will be responded to by EOB October 30th.T
