About MART Connects
The Montachusett Regional Transit Authority (MART) operates a Taxi and Livery service for its member communities called MART Connects. Beginning April 28, 2026, MART Connects is launching an updated service model with revised cost-sharing and rider payment information. This service continues to be available in Ayer, Devens, Lancaster, and Shirley. Rides can be for any purpose and are provided by taxis. Riders must be at least 18 years old to book trips. Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. Book rides up to 20 miles from your pickup location, 7 days a week between 5:30 AM – 10:00 PM. To book, call MART at (978)-345-7711. Reservations must be made by 2:00 PM the day before. Rides are curb-to-curb. Payment is made over the phone using a credit or debit card.
