MART provides regional fixed route bus and complementary ADA service, as well as other demand response service.  Please explore the many menu options of this website to get detailed information on all MART's services. Please feel free to call 978-345-7711 with any questions regarding MART's transit services.

MART Consumers have the right to expect safe, timely, fair and equitable service to be performed. If you don't please fill out our Customer Feedback form.  Consumers also have the right to file an ADA or Discrimination Complaint as well. 

MART also books MassHealth and other Human Service Transportation rides throughout most of the state. If you are a MassHealth/HST consumer please call 1-800-854-9928 or 1-866-834-9991 or 1-866-834-9992. You can also visit our MassHealth pages for more information.

MART’s Business Office

1427R Water Street, Fitchburg, MA
Hours: 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m. Monday thru Friday. Walk-in or call 978-345-7711 x3.
Dispatch and the Answering Service are available for customer help anytime during off hours.

Intermodal Bus Depot & Fitchburg Commuter Rail Station

100 Main Street, Fitchburg, MA
Hours: 5:00a.m. to Midnight with limited access from 7:30p.m. to midnight (by rail platform only). 
The Ticket Agency sells commuter rail train and MART bus fares and is open between 7:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.
Fixed route bus: Weekdays from 5:25 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Gardner Facility

555 Main Street, Gardner, MA
Hours: 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday thru Friday. Walk-in or call 978-632-9980.
Buy bus passes, stored value or pay for subscription rides.

Athol Depot

573 South Street, Athol, MA
Hours: 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday thru Friday. Walk-in or call 978-575-9966.
Buy bus passes or put stored value on a Charlie Card.
